Learn How Kansas Families Can Still Claim the Expanded 2021 Child Tax Credit

Summary

Kansas families can claim the expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC), which provides up to $3,600 per child! The online filing portal, GetCTC.org, re-launched in May after the developers simplified the filing process. The portal, created by Code for America in collaboration with the U.S. government, makes it easier for families with no or low incomes to claim the credit on their own.

If you would like to learn more about the how to help families claim the CTC in this post-tax season time, you can join Kansas Action for Children's upcoming webinar on Wednesday, August 24, at 3:00 p.m. CST in partnership with the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, the Coalition on Human Needs, and the Partnership for America's Children. The webinar will discuss how families can still access the CTC, updates on eligibility, the new GetCTC portal, and more.
