The Kansas Early Learning Standards (KELS) provide a developmental sequence of skills from birth through kindergarten in 8 domains.
The KELS are aligned with the K-12 College and Career Ready Standards. This tool provides a useful guide to locating where a child is in their individual development and the next step in their development. This connection allows a caregiver to create opportunities and activities for a child to practice the next developmental phase.
